See what we have been up to and what fun we are
having! Check back often for updates!
"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of
all your wonders." Psalm 9:1
The Provenzano Kiddos...all blessings from God! Fearfully and wonderfully made!
We went blueberry picking today with the kids. It was a lot of fun. The bushes weren't terribly full as it is toward the end of the season, but it was such a beautiful day! We still ended up with two pounds in less than an hour. I am sure that the girls ate about two pounds as well! They couldn't figure out why Matt and I had more in our buckets!:)
Our Gracie girl has become such a little lady. It is like yesterday that I feel like we met her for the very first time. She is so sweet and so precious (although, yes, very sassy lately);) She is an excellent big sister and we are so proud of her. She is really looking forward to starting first grade...wow...we already have a GRADE-SCHOOLER!
Unbelievable to think that this little boy at his tiniest was 1 lb. 14 oz. We call him our little tiger. The girls have recently nicknamed his "Scooter" because he LOVES to scoot backward when he is laying on his back. He has places to go apparently!
Just within the past couple of days Sophia has figured out how to grab something in front of her. She thinks she is pretty darn smart! And of course, EVERYTHING has to try and make its way to the mouth! It is so fun to watch them learn!
Elizabeth informed us recently that she wasn't going to have kids (well at least not birth them.) She told Matt's mom in Michigan that she didn't want to be a mom. But, with further exploration, we found out that she DOES want to be a mom because she LOVES her babies, HOWEVER she is going to "buy" her babies from Russia. We have continued to try and explain to her it is "ADOPT". What they come up with I tell you!
We celebrated Elizabeth's birthday early as she was in Michigan at the cottage for her "real" birthday. She was convinced that here at home she turned four and that when she was in Michigan for her birthday she would turn five. Little minds! She got a big girl bike for her birthday and in true little sister form, she wanted the training wheels taken off "just like Gracie". We had to convince her that they stayed on for now seeings how she freaks out if there is even the littlest slope that she calls a "hill".
The girls went to Debut Dance Studio this year with Miss Megan. Here are some pictures from their in studio dress rehearsal for their recital. They loved dance this year and can't wait to start again in the fall!
Sam and Gracie...one of just recently, the others of when we first moved here to Iowa five years ago! Crazy how quickly they change. Our friends the Renton's, just recently went "down under". Check out their blog at www.RentonsDownUnder.blogspot.com to see their adventures in Austrailia.
4 1/2 Months Old 3 1/2 Months Old Growing, growing, growing...continuing to be amazed by the awesomeness of our God...these are truly two little miracles! They are doing so well.
