Sunday Snapshot
Our Gracie Girl....the Littlest Inventor
Gracie has designed some very unique "inventions". Her creativity amazes us (even if she uses the recyclables and mom cringes when she sees them brought up from the garage...not because I want to stifle her creativity, but because I am a little OCD when it comes to having rooms picked up....) We have found a compromise that she can keep her "inventions" until the next recycling day and we will take a picture of them. So, here are her inventions. One (the milk jug) is this elaborate "lemonade dispenser" that she was going to use to sell lemonade and make some money for the March of Dimes. I finally convinced her that maybe it would be better and faster (and cleaner, not tasting like sour milk) to dispense lemonade from a thermos. She agreed, thinking that since it would be faster, she could pour more cups, therefore making more money....the other is this amazing pontoon boat that REALLY floated. (notice the soymilk container cut in half serving as the pontoons) The twins were glad to have it as a bath toy one night! Who knows? Maybe she will come up with the next million dollar invention!!!!
Helpers? Yes Indeed!
Isaac and Sophia turn TWO~

Where has time gone? I can't believe our babies are TWO!!! We celebrated with Grandpa and Grandma Eisberner a couple of weekends before their actual birthday. Mimi and Papa Jack Provenzano came to town to celebrate the weekend before their birthday. Unfortunately a little kink was thrown in the plans when Sophia was admitted to the hospital because of RSV. Fortunately she was released Sunday afternoon and so we were able to squeeze in a little birthday celebration. Their actual BIRTHDAY was a bit anti-climatic as a result. We just hung balloons and a sign and the girls gave them gifts. We had a cake that was quite the flop (REALLY the worse one yet, SO bad that I didn't even take a picture!) I have included some pictures of when they were first born and some from their birthday. They will always be my babies!
The best of friends...never far from the other
It really is fun to watch the unique dynamic of twins. These two are never really far apart from one another and love each other so much. Sophia is TOTALLY Isaac's caretaker and he usually allows it. Sophia is definitely "the one in charge" most of the time as Isaac's personality is very laid back (maybe this is from having three sisters and a mom that are always doing things for him, taking care of him, watching out for him). There are times where he will "put up a fight" but usually he just goes with the flow. Sophia is a very happy girl. She is always smiling, dancing, clapping and singing. She tries so hard to keep up with her older sisters and sometimes her feelings are hurt a little bit when they "shut her out." Isaac is our rough and tumble. The crazier, the better. For how little he is, he makes up for it in "toughness". His giggle lights up a room and all of us are learning what it is like to have a little boy in the house....there is definitely more rough housing and wrestling going on between these walls since he came around!
