Isaac and Sophia turn TWO~

Where has time gone? I can't believe our babies are TWO!!! We celebrated with Grandpa and Grandma Eisberner a couple of weekends before their actual birthday. Mimi and Papa Jack Provenzano came to town to celebrate the weekend before their birthday. Unfortunately a little kink was thrown in the plans when Sophia was admitted to the hospital because of RSV. Fortunately she was released Sunday afternoon and so we were able to squeeze in a little birthday celebration. Their actual BIRTHDAY was a bit anti-climatic as a result. We just hung balloons and a sign and the girls gave them gifts. We had a cake that was quite the flop (REALLY the worse one yet, SO bad that I didn't even take a picture!) I have included some pictures of when they were first born and some from their birthday. They will always be my babies!

The best of friends...never far from the other

It really is fun to watch the unique dynamic of twins. These two are never really far apart from one another and love each other so much. Sophia is TOTALLY Isaac's caretaker and he usually allows it. Sophia is definitely "the one in charge" most of the time as Isaac's personality is very laid back (maybe this is from having three sisters and a mom that are always doing things for him, taking care of him, watching out for him). There are times where he will "put up a fight" but usually he just goes with the flow. Sophia is a very happy girl. She is always smiling, dancing, clapping and singing. She tries so hard to keep up with her older sisters and sometimes her feelings are hurt a little bit when they "shut her out." Isaac is our rough and tumble. The crazier, the better. For how little he is, he makes up for it in "toughness". His giggle lights up a room and all of us are learning what it is like to have a little boy in the house....there is definitely more rough housing and wrestling going on between these walls since he came around!

Merry Christmas

Yes, I know, where has the year gone? I have been a blog slacker and decided that I at least wanted to share these most recent pictures with you all. These are the kids in Chicago when we went to visit Aunt Jodi this past fall. The others are of the kids in their Christmas outfits...they were just trying them on. Isaac and Sophia thought they were pretty fun and it was difficult to get the outfits off of them! I will try to do some updating in the next couple of weeks. I will try to "re-cap" some of the happenings of this past year, but in the meantime, may you be richly blessed this Christmas season as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus. What a wonderful thing to have HOPE! Merry Christmas!

Our trip to Wisconsin

In one of these pictures, the girls were playing dress up with some of my dress up clothes from growing up. We also celebrated Elizabeth's 5th birthday.

The kids and I went up to Wisconsin for a few days. It was wonderful to see family and be home. We got to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Beyer, saw my Aunt Ceanna and Uncle Greg, my Aunt Karen and Uncle Robert and got to go to my cousin Katie's bridal shower. Thanks to all who made the effort to come and see us while we were home! And thanks Mom and Dad for a wonderful week!

Play-Doh and Painting...

Chicago and Mark and Jen's Wedding

Pictures from the wedding. It was a beautiful location and a beautiful day...

Over the 4th of July weekend, we went to Chicago. Thanks to Aunt Jodi for letting us crash at your place even though you weren't there!:) We went to the Lincoln Park zoo, swam in Lake Michigan (in clothes because we didn't have our swimsuits and the girls couldn't resist the temptation!), walked through the conservatory and just enjoyed our family time together. Thanks to Mark and Jen for inviting our family to share in your very special day. May God richly bless your life together. We were so glad to share in it with you.

Summer fun pictures

Sophia and Isaac loving their ice cream...please make special note of the wonderful care and concern Sophia has for Isaac...already a little mother! She definitely watches out for him and takes good care of him. He is spoiled by all three of his sisters and I know he already thinks he is a little prince!:)

Fun with Nana at Chuck E. Cheese

When the kids and I were in Michigan that first week after school was out, Nana took us to Chuck E. Cheese for Gracie's birthday. All of the kids LOVED it! Thanks for a fun and memorable time Nanny! We love you!
